Happy Whisk(e)y Wednesday! Kick off July 4th activities with us tonight for Whisk(e)y Wednesday LIVE! After the last few days, I am ready for some good times with some of my favorite people… you!
Yesterday, we essentially shut down our business for the day to celebrate the life of great human, and a good friend, Dr. Eric Thomas. As I noted in Monday’s email Eric passed away unexpectedly last week. To say it has been challenging would be an understatement. With that, the outpouring of support for Eric and his family at yesterday’s event was amazing. I can honestly say we have never had that many people gather in our space in our eight year history at this location.
The team performed admirably. And while we have gotten pretty good at these things, I certainly hope this is the last one for awhile.
Time to move forward and start the festivities for the 4th of July! It kicks off tonight with Whisk(e)y Wednesday LIVE! with the Johsnon-MckInney Quartet and some great jazz music on the patio. It’s also Ted “Egg Pie” Slattery’s birthday today, so have a look at tonight’s Feature Flight and raffle… it’s a good one!

- Saturday – Andrea Ross and Her Big Band for America 250 with The Hegg Brothers Opening! Andrea was scheduled to play last year, but Mother Nature had different ideas. Hoping this year isn’t the same!
